Free parking is a great asset for all users of Park Startbaan. <\/span><\/p>\n

But sometimes the parking lot is overcrowded. Recently we have been surprised several times by large events and gatherings of our neighbors where the number of visitors per car considerably exceeded the possibilities of the parking lot. How are we going to respond to that? <\/span><\/p>\n

The Park Startbaan board has decided the following: <\/span><\/p>\n

As much as possible, we would like to inform you about the dates on which large parking crowds can be expected via the website and on the information screens in the clubhouse. <\/span><\/p>\n

We will talk to our neighbors as soon as possible to make agreements about properly informing each other and making agreements about the use of the car park and surrounding car parks during major events. <\/span><\/p>\n

We had already published the now known list of dates in an earlier message on the website and on the information screens in the clubhouse. We will do that again below. This list will be updated immediately with new information. <\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, some advice. If parking pressure is expected, come by bike or public transport as much as possible. Park Startbaan is easier to reach by public transport since bus 178 has a stop on the corner of Startbaan and van der Hooplaan. The Startbaan stop is part of bus 178 that runs from Poortwachter in Amstelveen via the Amstelveen bus station to Amsterdam Zuid Station. <\/span><\/p>\n

Parking nuisance is expected on the following dates:<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

  • All Sunday mornings due to a well-attended church service at the Herman Wesselink College (9.30-11.30 am) <\/span><\/li>\n
