Curious about all the positive developments at Park Startbaan, Herbert Raat decided to honor the park on 7 October with an informal visit.<\/p>\n

Four years ago, as wethouder, Raat was closely involved in the decision-making process to privatize the park, as was Peter Bot, member and former chairman of LTC Startbaan, then alderman for sports affairs. Peter Bot was also present during this visit.<\/p>\n

The board of Park Startbaan gave a short presentation about the developments of the past four years with a view to the near future. This was followed by a tour of the park.<\/p>\n

In the discussion, Herbert Raat congratulated the board on the achieved results. He thanked the board several times for the efforts made, also on behalf of the Amstelveen (sports) community. He promised to come back after the renewal process was completed.<\/p>\n
