Our indoor courts have been given a beautiful new coating. The experienced men of Ton de Rooy, who among other things also provide the courts of the ABNAmro tournament, have completed the job in one week. From Wednesday, April 30, these courts are playable again.
Medium roughness has been chosen again. Then the courts are neither too fast nor too slow, suitable for playing at all levels.
But please note. Compared to the “worn” courts, the roughness has increased. This takes getting used to in the beginning and also requires attention because sometimes the footwear does not cooperate. Perhaps special footwear for indoor courts is recommended. If you would like more information on appropriate footwear, please send an email to secretaris@parkstartbaan.nl. Finally, an urgent request to all users. Let’s keep these courts beautiful for as long as possible! So:
No gravel shoes on the indoor courts. A tiny gravel stone can cause very ugly scratches.
Also, no drinks or food to bring inside. If these are accidentally spilled on the floor, the resulting stains cannot be removed.
