t’s time to replace the carom tables again. We typically do this after about 1,000 hours of play.
The schedule is as follows:
Tables 1–2–3 and 8–9 will get new cloth on Friday, August 14, and tables 4–7 and 5–6 will be next on Saturday, August 15.
We will contact regular renters on those days to ask whether they would like to switch to a different table for a game or cancel their reservation.
Occasionally, we receive reports that the bands also need to be replaced. Please note that when the cloths are replaced, the bands are always tested for impact resistance. This is done using a standard procedure, and it will be done again on these days.
Finally: behind the scenes, we’re working hard to prepare new scoreboards. Please be patient—they’re on their way!
