To keep our clay courts in top condition, extra watering is needed during dry and hot periods.
On weekdays, our groundsman, Gijs Abelen, waters the courts for the last time at 2:00 p.m. daily. During dry and hot periods, that isn’t enough. That’s why we’ll also water the courts later in the afternoon, at 4:30 p.m. On weekends, we’ll give the courts an extra watering at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. These extra waterings are automated. Please keep this in mind if you’re playing at those times. You’ll be helping the courts immensely if you take a moment to rake them before the watering!
